Q & A

What is Neighborhood Watch and how do we participate?
The Lake Washington Ridge Home Owners Association (LWRHOA) is working with the Newcastle Police Department to organize neighborhood units into a Block Watch Program. Once the Block Watch is established, signs may be posted within the neighborhood.

More detailed information about Block watch is available on this website and from any member of the Board of Directors.

Is local bus transportation available in the neighborhood?
Metro bus 219 connects the area with Factoria Shopping Mall and the Newport Hills Park and Ride. At either end of the connector route, buses are available to other destinations in the metro area.

If I want to make improvements to my property, how do I validate my plans with the Homeowners Association?
Any change to the appearance of your home, or landscape, should be approved by the Architecture Review Committee before any work begins.

The HOA Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&R) define the approval process for making alterations to the property. Any member of the Board of Directors can answer questions about the CC&Rs.
